With over 3,000 square feet of store space, we are uniquely representing our lines with the most styles, colours and sample size options than any other shop of its kind on Beautiful Vancouver Island.  Our size gives us the opportunity to offer our clients whatever their heart desires while proudly accommodating any sized budget!  Our layout allows us to provide the personalized, intimate experience you're looking for!

Located just outside of Downtown on Saanich Road between Douglas Street & Blanshard Street, we offer easy access to the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy #1) & the Patricia Bay Hwy (Hwy #17) and Free Parking!

Who is Shades of White?

Shades of White is a locally owned business with an impressive 24 years of serving this community.  As owners of this beautiful shop and residents of Victoria; Monica, Amanda & Dustin operate their business with the utmost care and passion for their clients.

Courtney, Laurie, Elen, Christine, Linda, Stephanie, Rayann, Chris, Monica & Amanda make up our charming Shades of White family!  These are the Girls at Shades of White who are enthusiastically awaiting the opportunity to create the experience you deserve when seeking the gown & accessories of your dreams!

Your Selection?

We carry over 20 different Designer’s collections and represent the lines in a variety of different colors, styles and sample sizes.  When purchasing styles for our shop, we choose based on the following criteria:

1. Style – we choose our styles based on current market trends as well as our extensive research to make sure we include a variety of personalities in our collections.  Classic & Contemporary, Unique & Timeless, Couture & Unadorned we have a taste for every palette.

2. Price Point – we can accommodate any budget; from the robust to even the most petite.  We’ve done our due diligence and have collected a vast variety of price pointed gowns keeping things honest & fair but never compromising quality. Once you have purchased your gown with Shades of White your Accessories & Attendants are taken care of and you're offered discounts and specials on those orders :)

3. The Desire to be Innovative – We will always try to find those chic or exclusive items to add to our collections to inspire ourselves and our clients; we’re often intrigued by something we have yet to see and think you will be too!
